ANC 2B Notice of Special Meeting and Proposed Changes to Bylaws and Policies and Procedures Manual

ANC 2B will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, August 1st at 7:00 pm at the Dupont Circle Resource Center, 9 Dupont Circle NW. The purpose of the meeting is to consider additional community comments and a resolution regarding the following agenda item from the ANC’s regular July 2018 meeting:

  • 1827-1829 M Street NW – Concept / Six-floor rear addition (HPRB #18-518) (2B06) (30 minutes)

Please note that the ANC will not hold an August Zoning, Preservation, and Development (ZPD) Committee meeting.

ANC 2B would also like to provide notice that the commission will consider changes to the ANC’s bylaws and the ANC’s Policies and Procedures Manual during the ANC’s regular August meeting on Wednesday, August 8th at 7:00 pm. The proposed changes to the bylaws can be found here and the proposed changes to the Policies and Procedures Manual can be found here.

July 5th ZPD Committee Meeting Agenda

ANC 2B will hold our monthly Zoning, Preservation, and Development (ZPD) Committee meeting on Thursday, July 5th at 7:00 pm at the Dupont Circle Resource Center, 9 Dupont Circle NW (please note the date change due to the July 4th holiday).

The Committee will review the following historic preservation and zoning applications:

  • 1500 Rhode Island Avenue NW – Application by the State of Hungary’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to renovate the existing Hungarian Chancery (FMBZA #19798) (2B05)
  • 2131 N Street NW – Application for a special exception from the lot occupancy requirements to modify an existing rear deck addition to an existing principal dwelling unit (BZA #19800) (2B06)
  • 1827-1829 M Street NW – Concept / Six-floor rear addition (HPRB #18-518) (2B06)
  • 1771 N Street NW – Concept / Re-skin building, expand penthouse (HPRB #18-516) (2B05)
  • 2001 Massachusetts Avenue NW – Concept / Three-story addition atop building (HPRB #18-515) (2B02)

May 2nd ZPD Committee Meeting Agenda

ANC 2B will hold our monthly Zoning, Preservation, and Development (ZPD) Committee meeting on Wednesday, May 2nd at 7:00 pm at the Dupont Circle Resource Center, 9 Dupont Circle NW.

The committee will review the following historic preservation and zoning applications:

  • 1325 21st Street NW – Concept / rear addition and alteration (2B06)
  • 1729 T Street NW – Application by 1729 T Street TF LLC for variances from the closed court requirements, the floor area ratio requirements, and the lot occupancy requirements to construct a five-unit apartment house (BZA #19772) (2B08)
  • 1218 16th Street NW – Application by Philip Qiu and Associates LLC for a use variance from the use provisions to use a portion of the existing office building as a small public gallery (BZA #19774) (2B05)
