{"id":2215,"date":"2013-01-12T09:47:14","date_gmt":"2013-01-12T14:47:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dupontcircleanc.net\/wordpress\/?p=2215"},"modified":"2013-02-11T09:59:11","modified_gmt":"2013-02-11T14:59:11","slug":"news-anc-seeking-new-webit-consultant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dupontcircleanc.net\/wordpress\/2013\/01\/12\/news-anc-seeking-new-webit-consultant\/","title":{"rendered":"NEWS: ANC seeking new web\/IT consultant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The ANC&#8217;s long-time Executive Director Freddie Blicher, who served in that capacity from 2004 until 2011, is now stepping down from the position of Web\/IT consultant.\u00a0 Therefore, the ANC is looking for someone to assist us with web design and IT trouble-shooting, to begin in February 2013.\u00a0 This is a contract position that will be paid hourly, with an expectation of about 10 hours per month.\u00a0 The consultant should be very familiar with WordPress web design.\u00a0 Graphic design and photo\/video editing knowledge is also preferred.<\/p>\n<p>Interested persons should contact Chairman Will Stephens at will.stephens@dupontcircleanc.net.<\/p>\n<p>The formal position description, as approved by the ANC, is below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Description for Web\/IT Consultant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Web\/IT Consultant will:<\/p>\n<p>1. Serve as the Commission\u2019s webmaster, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>designing the website;<\/li>\n<li>managing the background infrastructure of the website, such as servers and domains;<\/li>\n<li>maintaining and updating the functionality of the website; and<\/li>\n<li>regularly updating the content of the website, as needed;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2. Manage the Commission\u2019s internal worksite (currently Backpack);<\/p>\n<p>3. Manage the Commission\u2019s e-mail systems and server; and<\/p>\n<p>4.
