Transportation Plan Advisory Committee Meeting for moveDc to Convene Wednesday, March 27<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

(Washington D.C.) As part of the moveDC, District Department of Transportation (DDOT) has established a Transportation Plan Advisory Committee (TPAC). The TPAC is made up of District residents from each Ward that are active in transportation-related issues and other civic endeavors. The TPAC is charged with acting in an advisory role to the project team throughout the plan development process. The committee will also help extend the plan\u2019s outreach efforts. The TPAC will provide insight on key topics during the planning process that will include: outreach strategies, alternatives development and analysis, and plan recommendations among many.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

All TPAC meetings are open to the public.\u00a0 Members of the public are encouraged to attend and participate in the meetings. Each meeting\u2019s agenda will be structured to offer time for presentation and sharing of information, discussion by the TPAC and questions and discussion with the public.<\/p>\n

About moveDC<\/strong><\/p>\n

moveDC is a collaborative planning effort, led by DDOT’s Policy, Planning and Sustainability Administration (PPSA), to develop a Multimodal Long Range Transportation Plan for the District of Columbia. The plan will guide investments in the District\u2019s transportation system for the current and next generation of residents, workers, and visitors.\u00a0 MoveDC is expected to be completed by early 2014.
