Discussion on Proposed Public Safety Meeting<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Discussion focused on where a public safety meeting should be held<\/p>\n

Commissioner Nichols strongly believed meeting should be held within “club central”<\/p>\n

Questions were focused on to whom the main audience of the meeting will be<\/p>\n

It was decided that notice of the meeting should go to Jefferson Place, Palladium, and N St Follies<\/p>\n

Invitations should be extended to MPD, ABRA, and the Golden Triangle BID<\/p>\n

The Committee agreed to ask about the following at the meeting:<\/p>\n

Ask if the ANC can provide support by asking MPD to extend support to the Club Action Team to Sunday.<\/p>\n

Propose that the ANC support increasing the funding for additional ABRA investigators<\/p>\n

Ask Golden Triangle BID to conduct additional outreach to property owners where nightclubs are located.<\/p>\n

Bistro Bistro (2B01):<\/em> Lost standing and currently seeking reinstatement<\/p>\n

Fireplace (2B02):<\/em> Protest drop, reimbursable detail has been reinstated, will work\u00a0with\u00a0DDOT on use of public space. Public Safety meeting with MPD forthcoming.<\/p>\n

Midtown (2B05):<\/em> April 2014 protest date, near agreement on Settlement Agreement<\/p>\n

Dirty Martini (2B05):<\/em> April 2014 protest, near agreement on Settlement Agreement<\/p>\n

Rose Bar (2B05):<\/em> Protested as of 2\/18\/2014, near agreement on Settlement Agreement<\/p>\n

Public Bar (2B06):<\/em>\u00a0Settlement Agreement agreed upon by all parties<\/p>\n

18th<\/sup> St Lounge (2B06):<\/em> replacarded on 2\/21<\/p>\n

Bar Code (2B05):<\/em> still negotiating over use of public space \u2013 April 2014 protests date<\/p>\n
