At ANC 2B\u2019s regular March meeting this Wednesday, the ANC will hold a special election for the current commissioner vacancy for single member district 2B04. Anyone who is a registered voter in single member district 2B04 will be able to participate in the special election. The meeting will be this Wednesday, March 8th at 7:00 pm<\/u><\/strong> at the Brookings Institution, 1775 Massachusetts Avenue NW. The most up to date meeting agenda can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Polls will be open during the meeting from 7:00 pm until 9:30 pm<\/u><\/strong>. Once the polls close at 9:30 pm, the ballots will be counted and the results will be announced by the end of the meeting. The polling will take place outside of the ANC\u2019s meeting room.<\/p>\n In order to participate in the special election, you must be a registered voter in single member district 2B04, the boundaries of which can be found on the ANC 2B map here<\/a>. Same day voter registration will not<\/u> be available at the polls. All ballots must be cast in person<\/u> at the meeting. The election will be administered by the Office of Advisory Neighborhood Commissions<\/a>.<\/p>\n There will be four candidates appearing on the ballot.
