NEWS: Public Meeting on Proposed Stead Park Improvements 10/3/12
On Wednedsay, October 3rd from 7:00pm to 8:30pm, the Friends of Stead Park (FOSP) will be hosting a meeting at the Jewish Community Center to present initial proposed plans for improvements of Stead Park, especially the playing field area. Stakeholders are encouraged to attend.

NEWS: Dog Park Grand “Re-opening” 8/23/2012
Please join the ANC and community members for the grand “re-opening” of the S Street dog park. Mayor Gray and Councilman Jack Evans will be in attendance, as well as Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Director Jesus Aguirre.
DPR has just finished an approximately month-long renovation of the park, including cleaning, repairs to the turf, tree replanting, foundational work, and adding soil and woodchips.
