ANC 2B Announces Town Hall on Homelessness

Advisory Neighborhood Commission 2B has announced that the commission will hold a town hall to discuss the issue of homelessness. The ANC has received numerous requests from constituents to have a discussion on this topic and believes this one-stop shop will provide residents with facts they may not know, an understanding of the legal rights of the homeless, and valuable information on what residents can do to help the homeless and assist local service providers.

The town hall will take place on Tuesday, February 6th at 7:00 pm at the Keegan Theater, 1742 Church Street NW. There will be an open house with representatives from several service providers who serve the homeless  at 7:00 pm and the town hall will begin at 7:30 pm.

During the town hall, service providers and other community organizations will provide an overview of the current unhoused population, respond to questions from the audience, and provide resources to help address this issue in concrete and tangible ways.

Community members are asked to submit their top three questions for the experts here.

We look forward to your attendance at the town hall!

When I originally left a comment I appear
to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now
every time a comment is added I get four emails with the exact same comment.
There has to be a means you can remove me from that service?

I am really enjoying the theme/design of your website. Do you ever
run into any web browser compatibility issues?
A couple of my blog readers have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Safari.

Do you have any ideas to help fix this issue?
