Following discussion over several recent ANC meetings, consultation with the Office of Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (OANC), and further review, and in response to community engagement about meeting procedures and conduct, ANC 2B is providing notice about proposed amendments to the ANC’s bylaws for consideration at the ANC’s November 9th, 2022 meeting.

Having appropriate decorum for meetings that are so hyper-local is really important. With this, the focus can be on the issues and not personal and petty concerns. The core of the work of an ANC is a strong neighborhood fabric, and these rules support this aim. I support these changes.
