August 16th Mobility Committee Meeting Agenda (Virtual Meeting)

ANC 2B’s August 2022 Mobility Committee (MC) meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 16th at 7:00 pm.

  • Discussion of a proposal to make September “Pedestrian Safety Month” with a focus on education and outreach for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists, among others (20 mins)
  • Discussion of how to protect, promote, and incorporate the tree canopy, green space, and environmentally positive elements when considering mobility and infrastructure projects (20 mins)
  • Discussion of interest and potential locations where Pick-Up/Drop-Off (PUDO) spaces for resident/neighborhood use would be helpful (20 mins)
  • Discussion of questions and subjects to include in future Mobility Committee and ANC meetings with leadership of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), Department of Public Works (DPW), Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), etc. (20 mins)
