NEWS: Summer Activities at Ross

Summer Activities at Ross Elementary

While Friday, June 21 is the last day of the school year, there will be lots of activities going on at the school over the summer.  For the first time, there will be a YMCA Early Childhood Camp at Ross. There will also be a landscape design and waterproof updating project taking place when school is out of session.

As part of the waterproofing project, the remaining tree in front of the school will need to be removed. The Department of General Services (DGS) is planning for this to happen on Saturday, June 30. In addition, there will be other exterior work taking place at Ross ES this summer and there should be more information about this shortly.

DGS has been working with a group of interested parents and community members to gather input about the landscape and playground expansion design over the past several weeks. For more information about this project, please contact ANC Commissioner Stephanie Maltz (Stephanie.Maltz@dupontcircleanc.net).
