I have been cleaning up Stead Park for the past three weeks, plastic bottles, vomit, dead rats, diapers, etc. I have contacted Brooke Pinto’s office to report the lack of trash pick up at the park. I also made a 311 complaint, wrote to the director of Park’s, so far no luck. The Park has trash cans around the perimeter and only some of the cans are being emptied regularly. Please help and put some pressure on the trash contractor who services the park. Also as an aside, how can a group that calls itself Friends of Stead Park sit on their lazy butts and actually contribute to the problem when they have events by not cleaning up after themselves.
