August 28th TPI Committee Meeting Agenda

ANC 2B will hold its next Transportation and Public Infrastructure (TPI) Committee meeting on Wednesday, August 28th at 7:00 pm at the Dupont Circle Resource Center, 9 Dupont Circle NW.

The purpose of the Transportation and Public Infrastructure (TPI) Committee is to promote a safe and effective transportation system for the residents and visitors of Dupont Circle and improve the use of public space in our neighborhood. The role of the TPI Committee serves as a forum for discussing matters related to the following and making recommendations to the ANC:

  • Pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure and safety
  • Beautification, repair, and streetscapes
  • Public transit
  • Public parks
  • Curbside management, including valet applications, loading zones, the enhanced residential parking program, and visitor parking
  • Matters before the DC Council related to transportation and public space

The meeting will be on Wednesday, August 14th at 7:00 pm. Please note that the meeting will take place at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), 1717 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Room 500. This is the SAIS building that is located on the north side of the 1700 block of Massachusetts Avenue.

Please also note that, due School of Advanced International Studies policies, all meeting attendees will be required to show photo ID in order to enter the school building.

August 7th ZPD Committee Meeting Cancelled

Due to the lack of new zoning and Historic Preservation Review Board applications with deadlines before ANC 2B’s regular September meeting, the ANC’s Zoning, Preservation, and Development (ZPD) Committee has cancelled its August meeting, which was previously scheduled for Wednesday, August 7th.

July 24th TPI Committee Meeting Cancelled

Due to summer vacations and the lack of pressing issues, ANC 2B’s Transportation and Public Infrastructure (TPI) Committee has cancelled its July meeting, which was previously scheduled for Wednesday, July 24th.
