ANC 2B to Review Policies and Procedures Manual in December

In anticipation of the large quantity of regulatory matters that ANC 2B will have to review during the Commission’s regular November 2018 meeting, the ANC has decided to move review of proposed changes to the ANC’s Policies and Procedures Manual, including proposed changes to the ANC’s Public Space Guidelines, to a meeting held by the Commission in December. More information regarding the proposed changes and the date, time, and location of the meeting will be sent out soon.

October 17th TPI Committee Meeting Agenda

ANC 2B will hold its October Transportation and Public Infrastructure (TPI) Committee meeting on Wednesday, October 17th at 7:00 pm at the Dupont Circle Resource Center, 9 Dupont Circle NW.

The agenda includes:

  • Welcome and review of meeting norms
  • Presentation and discussion on the “High Crash Site Review” for the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and R Street NW and the intersection of Connecticut Avenue, S Street, and Florida Avenue NW
  • Update on ANC actions after the death of Carol Joan Tomason in the crosswalk at the intersection of H Street and 15th Street NW
  • Updates regarding the 17th Street NW pedestrian, cyclist, and curbside management safety improvements

The purpose of the Transportation and Public Infrastructure (TPI) Committee is to promote a safe and effective transportation system for the residents and visitors of Dupont Circle and improve the use of public space in our neighborhood.

Final October 2018 Agenda

The meeting will be on Wednesday, October 10th at 7:00 pm. Please note that, due to meeting room scheduling conflicts, the location of the meeting has changed. The new meeting location is the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Rome Building at 1619 Massachusetts Avenue NW. This is a SAIS building that is located on the north side of the 1600 block of Massachusetts Avenue.

Please also note that, due School of Advanced International Studies policies, all meeting attendees will be required to show photo ID in order to enter the school building.
