The meeting will be on Wednesday, March 14th at 7:00 pm. Please note that the meeting will take place at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, 1740 Massachusetts Avenue NW.

Please also note that, due to a recent policy change by the School of Advanced International Studies, all meeting attendees will be required to show photo ID in order to enter the school building.

March 7th ZPD Committee Meeting Agenda

ANC 2B will hold our monthly Zoning, Preservation, and Development (ZPD) Committee meeting on Wednesday, March 7th at 7:00 pm at the Dupont Circle Resource Center, 9 Dupont Circle NW.

The committee will review the following historic preservation and zoning applications:

  • 1501-1505 Pennsylvania Avenue NW – Application by Granite LLC for a special exception from the rear yard requirements to construct an addition to an existing building to establish a museum and conference center with associated office use (BZA #19711) (2B05)

  • 1916 M Street NW – Application by McDonald’s Corporation for a modification of consequence to the conditions of BZA Order No. 13902 regarding parking requirements to permit a fast food restaurant (BZA #13902A) (2B06)

  • 1529 16th Street NW – Application by the DC Jewish Community Center for an area variance from the floor area ratio requirements to modernize and expand existing an community center (BZA #19687) (2B05)

  • 2100 Massachusetts Avenue NW – Concept / add patio area and railings in front (HPRB #18-253) (2B02)

  • 1729 T Street NW – Concept / new construction of four-story, plus cellar, multi-family units (HPRB #18-249) (2B08)

  • 2031 Q Street NW – Concept / roof alteration at rear (HPRB #18-123) (2B02)

February 21st TPI Committee Meeting Agenda

ANC 2B will be hold its February Transportation and Public Infrastructure (TPI) Committee meeting on Wednesday, February 21st at 7:00 pm at the Dupont Circle Resource Center, 9 Dupont Circle NW.

The meeting will be held in the order of the agenda below:

  • Welcome
  • Update on the District Department of Transportation’s Curbside Management Project
  • Discussion regarding engagement for the 14th Street NW Streetscape Project
  • Discussion of ANC 2B’s recommendations regarding the District Department of Transportation’s Dockless Bikeshare Pilot Program
  • Discussion of the District Department of Transportation improvements resolution
  • Discussion regarding 2018 TPI goals and timeline (If time allows)

The meeting will be on Wednesday, February 14th at 7:00 pm. Please note that the meeting will take place at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), 1717 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Room 500. This is SAIS’ Bernstein-Offit Building, which is on the north side of Massachusetts Avenue NW, across the street from the location of the ANC’s January meeting.

Please also note that, based on recent conversations with the School of Advanced International Studies, meeting attendees will no longer be required to show photo ID in order to enter the school building, however attendees will still be required to sign-in with their name and signature.
