If you do not have a computer or access to the internet, you may join the meeting via phone at (301) 715-8592 or (646) 558-8656 with meeting ID 822 8762 2652 #.
We will continue to have public comment on each agenda item. There is no fee or account needed to use Zoom.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows:
- Introductions
- Committee Announcements
- Presentation and Discussion of a CommunityRequest for ANC 2B’s Support for an Initiative Calling Upon the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) to Study and Offer Designs for Upgrading the Q and R Street Bicycle Lanes to Low-Stress Protected Lanes Between Dupont and Eckington / Metropolitan Branch Trail (up to 1 hour)
This is an additional public session to discuss the rationale and obtain input about whether the ANC should sign-on to support the request to DDOT to initiate a formal study and produce designs for public consideration. Nothing more.Ā There currently is no active study or design process and nothing can be changed or built without completing them and a subsequent public notice and comment period.Ā
It is not within the scope ofĀ this meetingĀ to discuss any design or implementation details.
Members of the public will each have 3 minutes to ask questions or make a statement regarding the request. To respect everyone’s time and make it possible for as many people who wish to comment to do so, we will not accept visual submissions or “rebuttal presentations” at the meeting.
- Discussion About Potential Neighborhood Pick-Up and Drop-Off (PUDO) Spaces (up to 1 hour)
We will explore resident suggestions for short term parking spaces for passenger PUDO, deliveries, and residents to load or unload cars before parking or departing. We are looking for input about where these might be helpful and desirable around Dupont. Our plan is to combine these suggestions with the result of DDOT’s current neighborhood parking survey and request they devise a unified solution.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the above agenda items, please reach out to MC Chair Jeffrey Rueckgauer at: 2B02@anc.dc.gov.
